Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar رضي الله عنه reports that Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم
prayed thus:
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّىْ اَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَ فُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيْعِ سَخَطِكَ
“Allahuma Inni a’oozubika min zawaali n’imatika wa tahawwuli aafiyatika wa fujaa’ati niqmatika wa jamee’ee sakhatik.”
”O Allah! I seek refuge in You, from the extinction of Your favors (upon us), and from the safety/protection (you have given us) being transformed into a calamity, and from Your sudden punishment and from every displeasure of Yours.”
